William R. Ziffersky, 80, of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, William was the loving son of the late William and Bertha Ziffersky. He was the dear brother of Paulette (Myron) Bennett, Linda (Anthony) Jania, and the late Patricia (the late Frank) Minarik. He was a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Summit. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
Family and friends will gather at noon at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, where William will be laid to rest with military honors.
