Edward C. Kulbida, a retired Chicago police officer and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, died in Jan. of 2025.
He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (née Graca) and the loving father of Edward J., retired C.P.D. (Linda); Kenneth, retired C.P.D.; Michael, retired C.P.D. (Celeste); and the late James Kulbida. He was a devoted grandfather to Kimberly, Michael, Khrystina, and Jennifer, and a cherished great-grandfather to Morgan and Benjamin. He was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave., Chicago, with a St. Jude prayer service at 7 p.m.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Bruno Church for an 11:30 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
