Jose Vega, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, died [date, if available]. He was widely respected and known for his kindness and dedication to his family.
Vega worked hard throughout his life to provide a better future for his family, building a life far from home while fulfilling his dream of giving them the world. He touched the hearts of all who met him with his generosity and warmth.
He was survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura Patricia; his son, Jose Roberto; his daughters, Cecilia Gabriela and Mayra Patricia; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Keegan, and Yadin. The family’s golden retriever, Bailey, was also a cherished companion.
Vega’s legacy lived on through his family for generations to come.
Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. A second visitation took place at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 10:15 a.m. A procession followed to St. Turibius Church for an 11 a.m. Mass.
