Jack Robles, a lifelong resident of Chicago’s Canaryville neighborhood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was 70 years old.
Jack was the beloved husband of Rebecca, his devoted wife of 32 years. He was the loving father of Lisa Negrete (Larry), Michael Arismendi, Joanna Richards (Rob), and the late Pasquel Nava, Pasqual Nava IV, and Yajaira Nava. Jack was a proud grandfather to Amanda, Raymond, Amber, Angel, Alex, Michael, Faith, and Savannah, and a cherished great-grandfather to many.
He was a dear brother to Antonio Robles (Aida), Gary Robles (the late Nonnie), Ron Robles (Karen), Kathy Robles (Cruz), and Lisa Robles (Cris). He was preceded in death by his siblings Skip and Lolly. Jack was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews who will remember him warmly.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Summit, Ill. A second visitation will take place Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 9:15 a.m. A procession will then proceed to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Jack will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery.
Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
