George Macauley, a longtime resident of Orland Park, died peacefully on Feb. 10, 2025, at the age of 90.
He was the beloved husband of 61 years to the late Dolores. He was a devoted father to David, James and Christopher and a cherished grandfather to Kimberly, Michelle, Juliana, Christopher and Isabella. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him.
A visitation was held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon. He was laid to rest at Mount Greenwood Cemetery.
