Florence Rose Warchal, 95, a retired registered nurse, died.
Warchal was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (née Olejniczak). She was the dear sister of the late Sr. M. Janella of the Felician Sisters, the late Phyllis (Charles) Grace, the late Irene (Steve) Mackowiak, the late Rita (Ray) Rossborough, and the late Jesse Raymond Warchal. She was a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, a cousin to many, and a devoted friend of Olga Kulovitz.
A dedicated minister of care at St. Jane de Chantal Parish, Warchal volunteered for 24 years with the St. Vincent de Paul Society for Brother Leo’s Backdoor Ministry for the Homeless.
Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at Richard Midway Funeral Home. A funeral Mass took place Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at St. Faustina Kowalska Church, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
