
Flora Sferrino (née Romano), a longtime resident of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at the age of 98.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Sferrino and the loving mother of Gerald (Therese) Ciffone and Natalie Ferrara. She was the cherished grandmother of Conni (Keith) Montrose, Gerald Ciffone Jr., Michael Ferrara Jr., and Andrea (Chris) Betrus. She was also a dear great-grandmother to Jacob, Mia, Domenic, Cosette, and Julietta, and a great-great-grandmother to Evan.
Flora was the fond sister of Joseph (Ruth) Romano and the late Ralph (late Emma) Romano. She was also a loving aunt and great-aunt to many.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Feb. 5 unil of the Celebration of Life Service at the funeral home. A procession followed to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Mausoleum, where Flora was entombed beside her beloved husband, Anthony.
