A luxury vehicle stolen from a community parking lot was recovered after the owner used social media to help locate it, police said.
The 2018 Alfa Romeo Q4 was reported stolen from a handicapped parking spot in a lot in the 8500 block of 101st Terrace on Jan. 13. The owner had last parked the car there on Jan. 11.
After discovering the theft, the owner posted about the missing vehicle on a Facebook page called Chicago Stolen Vehicles. The car was later found in Chicago and returned.
Authorities did not immediately release information on any suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.
