Karen Sue McCarthy (née Powers), 81, of Bonita Springs, Florida, died Jan. 25, 2025.
She was the dear wife of the late Dennis McCarthy and the loving mother of James (Susan) McCarthy and Michael (Vickie) McCarthy. She was the sister of the late Ronald Powers, a devoted grandmother to Jenne, Ashley, Megan, Michael Jr. and Alec, and the dearest great-grandmother of nine.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills, Illinois. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
