On Tuesday, January 7, while on the road in a conference contest, the Beecher Bobcats took on the Donovan Wildcats. The first quarter was a tough one and resulted in an 11-11 tie by the end of eight. The Bobcats then took charge after and led 34-20 at the half. Beecher also scored 46 points in the second half, resulting in a lopsided 80-60 win.
The Bobacts had five players in double figures, including Orlin Nesbitt, who led the scoring with 23 points, in addition to 6 rebounds and 3 assists. On the night, Nico Fox added 14 points and 5 rebounds, Wences Baumgartner had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, Noah Berry recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds, while Dominick DeFrank added 10 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Bobcats currently are 9-7 overall and 4-1 in the RVC.
