Martin S. Martinis, 73, of Kenova, WV, and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Martin served his country with honor.
He was the beloved husband of Katherine (nee Arient) and the loving father of Alexandria. Martin was the dear son of the late David J. Sr. and the late Jane (nee Gutierrez) Martinis. He was a cherished brother of Patricia Mounts (Roake), Andrew Sr. (Vanessa), Michelle (Abel), Perry, and the late David Jr., Ronald, and Donald Martinis. Martin was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m. A chapel service took place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (corner of Lorel).
