Marian P. Hauppa, a lifelong resident of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, died at home on Dec. 6, 2024.
Born to the late Francis and Marie Bowman, Hauppa was a devoted sister to the late Frances (Edward) Dober, Florence Hauppa, Edward (Marianne) Hauppa, John (Colleen) Hauppa, Grace Hauppa, and Dorothy (Harry) High. She is remembered as a cherished aunt to Brian, Kevin, Gary, Tracy, John, Naomi, and Leonna, and a great-aunt to many.
Family and friends gathered Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at St. Daniel the Prophet Church for visitation, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment took place at Resurrection Cemetery, where Hauppa was laid to rest alongside her family.
