Raymond H. Simon, 100, of Palos Heights, died peacefully on Dec. 23, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. Simon was married to Pearl (née Dornhecker) until her passing and was a devoted uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Catherine, Dorothy, Edward, and Frank.
Visitation was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon at Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th St., Crestwood.
