Margaret M. Spataro, a resident of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at the age of 78.
She was the beloved wife of Albert Spataro Sr., loving mother of Albert Spataro Jr. and Angela Spataro Aggen, and cherished grandmother of Christina Isabella Ferraro and James Van Aggen.
Margaret is survived by her siblings Charles Yario, Judith Ann Yario, and Carol Ann Yario. She was preceded in death by her siblings James Yario and Nancy Ann Yario. She is also remembered by her sister-in-law Marie Lawler (David), John Spataro (Geri), and the late Dominic Spataro. Margaret was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street, just west of Harlem). A second visitation will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service celebrating Margaret’s life at 10:30 a.m.
Following the service, a procession will travel to Resurrection Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, for interment.
