Police in the 8th District (Chicago Lawn) and 9th District (Deering) are warning residents of recent burglaries to trucks.
In these incidents, three men force open the rear door window to a tractor trailer and make entry. The men then take the CPU/ GPS tracking device and flee the location on foot.
In the 8th District, incidents were reported in Gage Park in the 5000 block of South Homan Avenue on March 16 at 3 a.m. and in West Lawn in the 5900 block of South Pulaski Road on February 7 about 3 a.m.
