Joseph R. Schroedle, 70, a resident of Park Lawn, died suddenly on March 13, 2025.
He was the beloved son of the late Robert and Antoinette (née Indovina) Schroedle and the loving brother of Peter (Jacquie) Schroedle. He was a devoted uncle to Adam, Brandon (Sarah), and Christina Schroedle, as well as Carter, Cooper, and Turner Berry. Joseph was also the adored nephew and godson of Dolores Schroedle.
Joseph found joy in bowling, playing cards, and following Chicago sports. He was especially fond of McDonald’s and was known for his appreciation of a good back scratch.
Family and friends gathered for visitation on Thursday, March 20, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral Mass followed at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Park Lawn would be appreciated.
Joseph will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the simple joys he brought to those around him.
