Lorraine T. Wojciechowski, who graced this earth for 86 years, died at home on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophie Wojciechowski; her brothers Leonard (Jackie), Eugene, and Edwin (Jean); her dear friend, Jim; and her nephew, Danny Wojciechowski.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Joanne (George) Gorecki, and sister-in-law, Barbara Wojciechowski. She was a loving aunt to Lenny, Timmy, Debbie, Michael, Brian, Lisa, Marc, and Jennifer, and a great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and neighbors.
Active in her church, Lorraine found joy in her garden, her neighborhood, and the many people she encountered throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, honesty, hard work, compassion, and generosity.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street, just west of Harlem). A procession will follow to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church for an 11 a.m. Mass. Lorraine will be laid to rest beside her father at Resurrection Cemetery.
May she rest in peace in the loving arms of God.
