In a town bustling with both national franchises and locally owned businesses, a new name has joined the community: Encore Car Wash. Officially opening its doors in October 2024, Encore, located at 4900 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, is not just another car wash, it’s a modern, technology-driven facility designed to provide a high-quality, efficient, and environmentally conscious service to residents.
For Executive Director Patrice Tosi, choosing Oak Lawn as Encore’s latest location was an easy decision, given the town’s thriving mix of businesses and strong community ties.
“This town has a variety of businesses, from large commercial to small locally owned, and we’re certainly happy to become a part of it,” Tosi said.
“We looked at adding a facility to Oak Lawn as it is a strong local community with a large population. We felt that our facility could offer a convenient way for residents to get a quality car wash at a reasonable rate quickly. Encore focuses on utilizing the latest technology and equipment offered in the car wash industry to ensure our customers see value in the service we provide and felt Oak Lawn was a place that would be an excellent fit for us.”
Beyond providing top-tier service, Encore is weaving itself into the fabric of Oak Lawn by building relationships with local businesses and schools.

“The community is large in scale but feels like a smaller town when you interact with the people and work alongside them,” Tosi said. “We are coordinating with several larger businesses in the area and the local schools to become part of the community, and it has undoubtedly had a very welcoming feel. Oak Lawn has a variety of businesses not typically seen outside of larger cities, from the Children’s Museum to Christ Medical Center, combined with many locally owned restaurants to more extensive national franchises.”
But what makes Encore truly stand out, beyond its commitment to quality and customer service, is its dedication to sustainability. The Oak Lawn location, at 4900 W. 95th St., was built entirely with reclaimed brick sourced locally in the Chicagoland area.
“All of the masonry brick used at our Oak Lawn facility, from the main building to the equipment room out to the vending room, is from a previously demolished building on South Pulaski in Chicago,” Tosi said. “We use reclaimed brick on all our facilities as we believe things need not be new to look fantastic. We carry this philosophy through to our services, where we not only make our customers’ cars look great but also leave them feeling great, whether their vehicle is fresh off the dealership lot or not.”
Encore Car Wash is open seven days a week, offering convenient hours to fit customers’ schedules: Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
