The Manteno Panthers had a little fight on their hands against the Momence Redskins, on Wednesday, January 29, especially in the first half. By the end of the first quarter, the Panthers led by only two, 16-14. But at the half, the Panthers had increased the lead to 32-27. The second half was a different ballgame and was all Panthers – taking it by a score of 34-18, while winning the game 66-45.
The Panthers were led by Ray Lee with 18 points, Brandon Campbell with 16, and Cooper Monk with 8 points. The Panthers currently are 15-9 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
Ray Lee also celebrated a milestone scoring his 1,000th point in a game against St. Joe Ogden on Wednesday, January 22. Ray currently sits fourth on the all-time list, with 1,036 career points and counting. Congratulations Ray!!!
