William R. Ziffersky Jr., an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025.
He was the loving son of the late William and the late Bertha Ziffersky. He was the dear brother of Paulette (Myron) Bennett and Linda (Anthony) Jania, and the late Patricia (late Frank) Minarik. He was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem). Additional visitation took place Thursday, Feb. 6.
A burial service with military honors followed at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to pay their final respects.
