On December 26, Joaquin Romero-Perez, 57, of Schaumburg, was stopped for speeding and found also to never have had a valid driver’s license. He was charged with both offenses and released on a notice-to-appear.
On December 30, Ava Prate, 22, of Kankakee, was stopped due to her vehicle registration being suspended for non-insurance. She was issued citations for having a suspended registration, having a driver’s license that was expired for more than a year, and having no insurance on the vehicle. She was issued a notice-to-appear and released.
On January 1, Tylon Campbell, 24, of St. Anne, was stopped for having one Illinois license plate on his vehicle and also was found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was charged with both offenses and released on a notice-to-appear.
On January 3, Elias Velasquez, 39, of Watseka, was stopped for a vehicle equipment violation and also was found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was charged with both offenses, issued a notice-to-appear, and released.
On January 4, officers were called to 985 Dixie Highway for an employee dispute at the business. Jared Brouwer, 52, of Beecher, was arrested for having two arrest warrants from McHenry County. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet.
