On December 13, officers stopped Desean Robinson, 20, of Country Club Hills, in the area of W. North and State for speeding 50-mph in a 30-mph zone. During the stop, it was learned Robinson had a valid warrant out of Will County for speeding and suspended registration. Robinson was arrested, issued a warning for speeding, and transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility for bond hearing.
On December 18, officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 180 block of Sharp. Upon further investigation, it was learned the driver of the vehicle, Nykena Andeka D. Campbell, 30, of Ellabell, Georgia, had a suspended drivers license. Campell was cited for driving while license suspended, failure to wear seat belt, improper display of registration, no valid safety test, and driver’s license not on person.
On December 19, officers arrested Michael J. Sladek, 39, of Monee, after conducting a traffic stop in the area of Baker and Eastern for a vehicle traveling 97-mph in a 35-mph zone. Sladek was issued a speeding citation for this stop
