Shepard 83, St. Edward 62: The Astros (5-7) opened the Elgin Holiday Tournament with their third straight win as Jovan Thomas (16 points, 13 rebounds) and freshman Amari Williams (16 points, 11 rebounds) each posted double-doubles. Aaron Arrambide scored 14 and freshman Omar Yousef had 12 points.
