Gerald J. Wesolowski Sr. passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Loretta Wesolowski (née Mikols).
Born to a close-knit family, Gerald was a loving father to Gary (Stacy) Wesolowski, Gerald Wesolowski Jr., Lynn (Tracey) Arnold, and Scott Wesolowski. He was a cherished grandfather to Christopher (Ashley) Gomulka, Timothy Gomulka, and Deven Wesolowski, and a proud great-grandfather to Dylan Gomulka. Gerald was the fond brother of Judith (the late Edward) Durkin, Jack (Nancy) Wesolowski, and Patricia (the late Thomas) Weingart. He was also an uncle to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem). A second visitation was planned at the funeral home on Friday, December 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 a.m.
Per Gerald’s request, cremation followed the services.
Gerald was a man deeply loved by his family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and cherished memories.
