ROBERT BRAY
Robert Bray passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024. Born August 20, 1969 in Chicago, IL.
Survived by his father Joe Bray, wife Heather Bray, his 2 daughters, Lynne Valenta (Mitchell) and Colleen Bray, his granddaughter Annabelle and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Bray, and his brothers, James and David Bray. Robert served as a Sargeant with the Cook County Sheriff’s department and as a fire fighter with the Stickney Fire Department.
Visitation was held on Wednesday November 4, 2024 with a Celebration of Life Service for Robert. Per his request Robert will be cremated. HUMBERTO “BETO” FLORES MARQUEZ
Humberto “Beto” Flores Marquez, beloved husband of 50 years to Maria Flores Rodriguez; loving father of Alma Delia De Dios, Hilda Pasillas, Jose Guadalupe Flores, Yesenia Garcia, Alejandro Flores, and Maribel Marroquin; devoted grandfather of Lesley Pasillas, Ricardo Pasillas, Soraya De Dios, Evelyn De Dios, Angel De Dios, Olivia Garcia, Benjamin Marroquin, Oliver Garcia, and a baby Marroquin. Humberto was the dearest brother of 12 siblings, and a loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Humberto was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Born on December 30, 1950, in Rancho Guadalupe, Zacatecas, Mexico. He married his life long love Maria Flores Rodriguez, in 1974. Humberto and his family came to Chicago, IL in the summer of 1993. He worked at Tyson Foods Inc. for 17 years before retiring at 65. Humberto loved to dance. He enjoyed his retirement with his wife, spending time in their home in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Humberto’s warmth and joy touched everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always hold his memory in their hearts.

Procession from the funeral home to Our Lady of the Snows Church for Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
ROBERT J KALNES
Robert J. Kalnes, 86, of Downers Grove, Illinois, formerly of Chicago (Brighton Park), passed away at home on Oct 15, 2024, at 12:23am.
According to his wishes, no public services will be held, however, a family memorial is planned in the near future.
Robert was born on August 25, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, son of Frank and Lorraine (Paschke) Kalnes Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Kalnes of Iowa, and sister Karen Paraday of Michigan.
He worked at various manufacturing plants in the area, and was considered an amazing mechanic, fixing and maintaining machinery long beyond its expected lifespan. He was united in marriage to Barbara Rovak in 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. They met over 70 years ago in Brighton Park and were married for over 66 years. Both attended Kelly High School.
Robert had many interests, including repairing many broken items, finding mechanical collectibles, camping, and participating in reenactments of the French Fur Trading era. He was a welcome member of the Des Plaines Valley Rendezvous, known for his wood carvings while camping in Willow Springs along the river. He also frequented Prairie du Chien’s events, and participated in the Joliet Area Muzzle Loaders Club, shooting his fair share of black powder.
He loved his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids. He is survived by Robert S (Susan) Kalnes, Kimberly (Sean) Wynn, and Daniel (Abigail) Kalnes, his grandchildren Amber, Misty, Suzanne, Angelique, Mark, Greg, Robert, Brian, Ella, Kalen, Kyle, and great-grandchildren Micaela, Marcos, Noah, Isabelle, Richard “TJ”, Zoey, Max, Avery, Amelia, and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and neighbors.
DELMAR MICUCCI
Delmar Micucci passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of Donna (nee Ryan); loving father of Thomas (fiancée Jennifer) Micucci and Nichole (Brian) Groves and the late James Micucci; proud grandfather of James, Gavin, Thomas, Trinity and Olivia; dear son of the late James and late the Theresa Micucci. Cherished brother of Sharon (John) Van Ort, Holly Micucci, the late Wynee Micucci, Jamie Micucci and Delores (Curtis) Cloutier. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, November 11 until time of Prayers. Procession from the funeral home to St. Blasé Church for mass. Delmar will be entombment alongside his son at Resurrection Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum.

Yvonne Perez passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024 with her loving family at her side.
She was the cherished mother of Destiny Perez, Melody Nevarez, Sierra Nevarez, Saffrie Perez, Valentino Burnette and Valente Burnette; much loved grandmother of Zay, Star, AJ, Arnez, Ameera, Royal, Camdyn, Eli, Yolanda and Jailah; loving daughter of Ignacio Perez and the late Margaret Cruz; dear sister of Nana, Pelon, Cupi, late Victor, Elvia, Yvette and Willie. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

He was the beloved husband of Maria Eliazar Valero; loving father of Noel (Krystal) Rodriguez and Rocio Rodriguez; proud grandfather of Elena Oceguera; dear brother of Abigail Torres, Elias Rodriguez and Esequiel Rodriguez. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
