August Boehm, beloved husband to Geraldine Boehm (nee Schuh), passed away peacefully April 22.
Beloved husband to Geraldine Boehm (nee Schuh); son of the late August and the late Caroline (nee Musser) Boehm; brother of the late Caroline (the late Joseph) Kubat, the late Harriet (the late Parke) Filley, and Viivian (the late Claude) Campos; dear step-father to Christine (Chris) Feddor and John (Sherri) Jasper; cherished grandfather to Rebecca Feddor, Rachel Feddor, Luke Jasper, Kathryn Feddor, Carli Jasper and John Feddor. He and his wife were born and raised on the south side of Chicago. Augie loved building wooden stock airplane models, enjoyed his HO and large hobby trains, and spending time with his dog, little Pixie Dust He was a loyal Cub fan his whole life and was so happy to see them win the World Series in 2016. He worked for United States Gypsum in downtown Chicago where he was a draftsman and model builder for many years.

MITCHELL W. GALLAS JR.
Mitchell W. Gallas Jr., known to many as Mitch, passed away peacefully May 29, in his beloved hometown of Chicago. Born on May 2, 1941, in Chicago, Mitch lived a full and vibrant life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Mitch graduated from Charles R. Henderson Elementary School and St. Joseph High School, both in Chicago. He went on to become a respected automotive mechanic and service writer, working for several local car dealers, including Curie Motors, Cuculich Oldsmobile, and Jim Link Chevrolet. His career culminated as a Fleet Manager for McDonald’s Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois, where his expertise and dedication left a lasting impact.
A true Chicagoan, Mitch was deeply engaged with his community and cherished the time spent with family and friends. He was an avid reader and kept himself informed on current events, never missing an episode of WGN-TV News. A favorite pastime was watching “The Curse of Oak Island,” a show he followed with great enthusiasm.
Mitch’s warm personality and character were defined by his unwavering respect and honesty. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, offering compassion and making everyone feel at ease. Known for his willingness to help others, Mitch’s kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mitch was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne, and his son, Christopher. He is survived by his cherished granddaughter, Rebecca Gallas, who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.
The family would like to extend its gratitude to Home Angels for their loving care.
Family and friends met on June 29 at St. Michael Catholic Church 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park for a Memorial Mass in Celebration of Mitch and Joanne’s life. NORMAN KIRKLEY
We remember with love, the life of Norman Kirkley, who went to be with Jesus on May 24.
He was the beloved husband to Theresa for 54 years; loving father of the late Marty and late Jon Kirkley; dear brother of Darlene and Charlotte. Norman was preceded in death by his 10 other siblings. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Norman loved to fish, loved to camp and loved all his dogs. Norman will be forever missed and always remembered. May he rest in peace, in the loving arms of our loving Heavenly Father.

RHINEHART LENTZ
Rhinehart Lentz, age 92, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away peacefully April 22. He was born on July 5, 1931, in Withee, Wisconsin, to Sigmond and Martha (Kaalesch) Lentz. Growing up on the family farm, Rhinehart learned the value of hard work and dedication from an early age. Tragically, at the tender age of 11, Rhinehart experienced the loss of his mother. His father, Sigmond, remarried Frances, providing Rhinehart with love and stability during his formative years. Rhinehart received his education in the Withee school district, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. Following his graduation from school, Rhinehart embarked on a journey of service to his country by joining the United States Air Force. As an airman first class and military police from 1950 to 1954, he demonstrated unwavering commitment and bravery in his duties. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Rhinehart relocated to Chicago, where fate intervened and led him to his soulmate, Betty Lou Koschoreck. They exchanged vows on April 9, 1955, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Rhinehart and Betty Lou raised a family in Chicago before settling in Downers Grove, Illinois, where they spent three decades nurturing their children and creating a loving home. In 1999, Rhinehart faced the heart-wrenching loss of Betty Lou, leaving a void in his life that could never be filled. In his later years, Rhinehart sought solace in Deerfield Beach, where he found peace and tranquility amidst the warm Florida sun. Throughout his life, Rhinehart touched the hearts of all who knew him with his kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit. Rhinehart Lentz is survived by his devoted son, Randy (Colleen) Lentz of Curtiss, WI, and his loving daughters: Vicki (Rick) Faude of Withee, WI; Wendy (Steve) Lund of Geneva, Illinois; and Joanie (Dennis) Helfert of Gilman, Wisconsin. He is also survived by a step-sister residing in Alaska, along with a legacy of 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sigmond and Martha, step-mother Frances, his beloved wife Betty Lou, two daughters Jacquelin and Colleen Faude, and son-in-law Lannie Faude. Additionally, he was preceded by his three sisters, Dorothy, Adeline, and Janet, and step-brother Frank. Rhinehart’s memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire generations to come. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved Betty Lou and embraced by the heavenly light.

Gracia Paz graced this earth for 90 years, passed away peacefully May 27, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife for 66 years to Gonzalo Paz before he passed away in 2020. She was the much loved and cherished mother of Eucario (Virginia) Paz, Hector (Olivia) Paz, Maria (Fidel) Lopez, Gonzalo Paz Jr, Rafael Paz, Armando (Martha) Paz, Jose (Judith) Paz, Julia (Pedro) Sandoval and Rogelio Paz; loving grandmother of Michelle, Nathaly, Eucario Jr., Elizabeth, the late Juan, Josue, Maritza, Selina, Eric, Edwin, Ivonne, Armando Jr., Javier, Jose Jr, Eduardo, Arissa, Evelyn, Pedro Jr., Rogelio Jr. and Daisy; great grandmother of Isabella, Julian, Juan Jr., Giselle, Aldo Jr., Jaslyn, Nayeli, Andres, Javier Jr., Romeo Angelo, Xavier and Camila. She was a woman of faith, who instilled in her family the importance of family, hard work, kindness and forgiveness. Nothing meant more to Gracia than her children and grandchildren, the love lessons and grace she provided will always remain a part of them. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Kozlowski); loving father of Anthony Pinzine, Marie (John) Erbeck and Christopher (Beatriz) Pinzine; cherished grandfather of Christian, Olivia, William, Caitlyn and Brooklyn; fond brother of Robert Pinzine and the late Terry Pinzine.
