Anna Maria Garza Wawrzyniak

Anna Maria Garza Wawrzyniak entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 21, 2025. She was born on April 22, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois.

She was the beloved daughter of Maria (Ramiro) Magana and the late Juan Garza. A devoted mother, she cherished her children, Stefan and Natasha Wawrzyniak.

Anna was a loving sister to Marisol Urbano (Eric), Juanita Esquivel (Albert), Guadalupe Cortez (Gerardo), Mayra Garza Flores (Art), Juan Garza (Mayra), and Carlos Garza (Helen). She was a dear aunt to Nicholas and Joseph Esquivel, Mateo Cortez, Marcus Flores, Ricardo Campos, Juan, Benjamin, and Daniel Garza, Kenneth and Aaron Garza, and a great-aunt to Henry Revell. She also adored her nieces, Chloe Urbano Revell (Thomas), Elaina Urbano (James Harrison), Gianna Cortez, Haylie and Clarissa Flores, and Elaine Garza.

Anna was deeply loved by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including her lifelong friend Josephine Cendejas and her companion, David Pluskis.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m., following a gathering at 9 a.m. She will be laid to rest at St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery.

She will be forever missed, and her loved ones find comfort in the memories she left behind.
