Michael Paul Zwijack, affectionately known as Mike, died on March 5, 2025, at the age of 65. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born Dec. 28, 1959, in Justice, Illinois, Mike attended Argo Community High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories. He held various jobs, including a paper route and maintenance work, before dedicating the last 15 years of his career to Walmart in Camdenton, Missouri.
Mike was known for his kind heart, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others. His selflessness left a lasting impact on those around him, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his brothers, James Zwijack Jr. (Sheree) of Nemo, South Dakota; Timothy Zwijack (Linda) of Camdenton, Missouri; and Paul Zwijack (Denise) of Hickory Hills, Illinois. He was a beloved uncle to Greg Zwijack, Allison Bass, Jamie Zwijack, Andrew Zwijack, and Emily Zwijack, and a great-uncle to Cora and Kate Bass.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James Zwijack Sr. and Leona Kozubik-Zwijack, and his sister, Pamela Burkhardt.
A celebration of life will be held on March 16, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bridal Cave Event Center, 8 Bridal Cave Rd., Camdenton, Missouri.
Mike’s legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
