Jose Antonio Camacho Sr., a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Amelida Castillo Camacho and a dedicated father to Jose Antonio Camacho Jr., Raquel Camacho, Abigail Camacho (Jose Genie), Miguel Camacho (Tiffany), Marilyn Camacho, Christina Camacho, Javier Camacho, and Amarillys Camacho. He took great pride in his role as a grandfather to Jessica, Isaac, Miguel, Julian, and Di Angelo.
Jose is also survived by his dear siblings Juanito, Nelson, Rafael, Robert, Noel, Edwin, Teresa, Alice, and Tonita. He was preceded in death by his brother Charlie. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street, just west of Harlem). A time of remembrance and celebration of Jose’s life will take place during the visitation.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
