Daniel D. DeSando, 82, retired Chicago Police Department officer, passed away surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of the late Denise E. (née Leonardo) and the loving father of Dennis (Jessica) DeSando and Dustin DeSando (Jo-Ellen MacGlashan). He was a devoted grandfather to Miranda, Zachary, Dominick, Isabelle, Katrina, and Gianna.
Daniel was the fond brother of David (the late Celeste) DeSando.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at Richard Midway Funeral Home. A funeral chapel service followed the next morning, with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Daniel will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
