Worth police arrested three men Monday afternoon after shots were fired in the 10600 block of South Depot Street.
Police said they were called about shots fired about 3:50 p.m. and after arriving learned it involved two rival groups shooting at each other.
Responding officers engaged in a brief foot pursuit that led to the arrest of three male subjects. Their names were not immediately available.
Officers canvassed the area with the department’s new K9, Garron, and located several items of evidentiary value including a firearm, a steel safe, and multiple vehicles that were involved in the shooting.
The Worth Police Department will continue its investigation, but said it appeared to be an isolated incident between two rival groups and posed no danger to the public.
